I have a plastic bag in my kitchen full of plastic bags from different grocery stores. And of course each time I go to the supermarket, I forget to take one of those bags with me. So I decide to put them in the trunk of my car. The problem is still not solved: I still have to look for the right bag…you don’t go to the supermarket X with the bag from supermarket Y. What should I do to make the shopping process easier? The answer is 1 big bag with no names on it. So I started to think of a material which wouldn’t be torn apart easily. And voilà the answer: hessian/burlap! I decorated the burlap shopping bag with parts of a napkin with beautiful vintage roses on it. I varnished the whole bag so that the napkins wouldn’t fade easily. And here is my cute big shopping bag ready to be used in both supermarket X and Y.
